Delivery Consultants - Unified Communications

No. of Positions Available:   Two (2)
Reports To:   Manager IPC Services
Location(s):   Indianapolis and/or New York/Stamford, CT area

Summary:
Responsible for overall delivery of solutions based on Cisco’s Unified Communications technology with a significant emphasis on voice. Focus on post-sales implementation along with occasional pre-sales responsibilities (typically less than 10%).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains current and thorough knowledge of Cisco technologies with particular emphasis on Cisco Unified Communications (Call Manager, Unity, IPCC Express, MeetingPlace, etc.)
• Maintains current and thorough knowledge of relevant complimentary technologies to Cisco (e.g. network based faxing, video, call recording, etc.)
• Works with Logicalis’ customers to evaluate network health and capacity planning
• Implements overall solution for customers including development of design documents (dial plan, network design, testing plan, etc.)
• Provides knowledge transfer and documentation to Logicalis’ customers upon project completion
• Implements connectivity to legacy customer systems, particularly legacy TDM PBX systems (Avaya, Nortel, etc.)
• Responsible for product evaluation, process improvement, and practice refinement activities on occasion

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Minimum of 3 yrs experience with design, implementation, and support of Cisco Networking and/or IP Telephony solutions
• Strong Cisco technical background – particularly around Unified Communications technologies
• Experience with design and implementation of Cisco Security and Cisco Wireless solutions a plus
• Experience with legacy PBX integration desired
• Strong consulting background focused on Cisco solutions preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office required
• Outstanding oral, written, and technical/business communication skills
• Strong technical and customer interaction skills required
