Senior Delivery Consultants - Two openings

Reports To:   Consulting Manager
Location(s):   New York, NY and Lisle, IL

Summary:
Provides technical leadership in design, installation, configuration, and implementation of virtualization products and technologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Designs and deploys technically advanced solutions including server consolidation, high availability, consolidated backup, and disaster recovery
• Architects, develops, and manages implementation of complex VMware IT solutions for Logicalis enterprise clients
• Works directly with client to gather requirements, design solution, build proof of concept and implement solution
• Assists in opportunity evaluation and leading or assisting on pursuits at new clients or within existing ones

Education and/or Experience:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field; May consider a combination of education and experience
• Experience:
  • Enterprise-class design and implementation experience with VMWare VI3
  • Demonstrated expertise with Windows operating system products
  • 5+ years of Windows & Linux systems administration experience (OS, network, storage, application support)
  • High level of data center operational knowledge
  • Professional working knowledge of network and SAN connectivity including TCP/IP, FC, MPIO, etc
  • Strong SAN administration/implementation/optimization experience (cache design, storage pooling, fiber channels, etc) with virtualization experience preferred in large-scale environments
  • Non-Windows platform experience desirable - Linux, Solaris, UNIX (AIX), etc; experience with LDAP desirable
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise support environment utilizing industry best practices and mature processes
  • Design and implementation experience with HP and IBM Blade Servers desirable
  • Strong experience with server/storage virtualization analysis and ROI studies
