LOGICALIS ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF CAROTEK INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES DIVISIONStrategic Acquisition Strengthens Southeast Presence; Expands HP Technology and Services Capabilities
Bloomfield Hills, MI – June 4, 2007 – Logicalis, Inc., (www.us.logicalis.com) a global provider of high-performance technology solutions, today announced its acquisition of Carotek’s Information Technology Division (Carotek ITD), based in Matthews, NC. The acquisition will increase Logicalis’ presence in the Carolinas, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and Florida while strengthening its ability to service HP business accounts. The acquisition of Carotek ITD will add approximately 30 staff members and increase revenue by an estimated $25 million in the coming fiscal year.

Carotek ITD will be integrated into the Logicalis HP Business Group led by Brian Nogar, Logicalis Executive Vice President and General Manager, and Dan Sytsma, Logicalis Senior Vice President, Sales.
Bobby Thomas, currently Carotek ITD Vice President and Division Manager, will become Area Sales Director for the southeast region, reporting directly to Sytsma. Both Carotek ITD and southeast regional Logicalis teams will report to Thomas.
